BLACK & ABSTRACT

In Black and Abstracts, the work is inspired by the myth of the snake in Kuruman in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa. The snake is in fact the landscape itself, but instead of a picturesque static landscape, the mythical landscape is a living part of the community's daily life.
